Paula Faris
Paula Faris is an American journalist
who formerly worked as the TV correspondent for ABC News. Her stints as
co-anchor of Good Morning America Weekend (2014-2018) and co-host of The View
(2015-2018) are famous. She was previously co-anchor of America This Morning as
well as World News Now. After graduating, she worked in several
communications-related jobs including an operations position at Mills/James
Productions in Columbus, Ohio. Because of limited TV opportunities, she worked
in radio sales. After a year of working as a production assistant for
WKEF/WRGT. She was then allowed to anchor and report periodically. She was the
weekend and weekday sports anchors at WCPO TV, Cincinnati, from 2002 to 2005.
After her contract expired and she became a anchor and reporter for sports at
the NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV in Chicago between November 2005 and December 2011.
In December 2011, she was recruited by ABC News the division for news of ABC.
On January 2, 2012, she made her debut on ABC News' World News Now and America
This Morning. At times, she was a fill-in for Good Morning America as well as
being a correspondent. She was then promoted to a New York-based correspondent
for all ABC News programs. The final show of World News Now and America This
Morning was broadcast on January 22nd 13. On September 9, 2014, she made her
debut as co-anchor of Good Morning America Weekend, after the departure of
Bianna Golodryga. Golodryga moved to Yahoo! News. News. On August 3 in 2016 it
was announced they had renewed her contract for the twentieth season. She was
also renewed as a co-host for Season 21. She was on the show mostly during
episodes on Fridays in the 21st and 22nd seasons.
