Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz is an Canadian actress from Canada. Her credits include Andy Jensen, on ABC Family's Kyle XY, and Lacy Rand on Syfy's short-lived science fiction drama series Caprica. Emily Hartwell (born Maya Hartwell), is her science fiction show Continuum. She was also a character in the Netflix thriller series You as Sandy. Apanowicz is from Polish origin and lived for one year in Poland in the 9th grade. She lived with her uncle in Poland, and went to Jelenia Gola School. She later studied at Vancouver Film School. She first became interested in acting at the age of 10, when her father introduced her to Pulp Fiction. In 2002 she began her first appearances on the TV series Jeremiah. She was also a guest in John Doe's TV series. From 2007 to 2009, she played acting in the Kyle XY role of Andy Jensen. She starred in Every Second Counts, a Hallmark Channel original film in the year 2008. In 2009, Apanowicz was cast in the role of Lacy Rand (a regular of the series) in the television drama Caprica which starred Eric Stoltz, Alessandra Torresani. Later, she appeared in the show Hellcats. In 2012, she was an actor in Jane Espenson's second season, web-based Husbands, a romantic comedy. In 2013, Apanowicz played Emily in the show Continuum. She was also Samantha in The Green Inferno horror film written by Eli Roth. The Green Inferno was originally made in 2012. The film was released worldwide in 2015. Apanowicz was cast in Volition as Angela. It came out in 2020. In 2019, Apanowicz played the role of Sandy in the second season of the Netflix thriller You.
