Riley Keough
Danielle Riley
Keough is an American actress. Born in Santa Monica, California, to musicians
Lisa Marie Presley and Danny Keough and is the daughter of the actress
Priscilla Presley and singer Elvis Presley. Keough was born in Hawaii by her
father, and living in Los Angeles by her mother. She also spent time between
California as well as Tennessee with her mother. She began modeling at age 15.
Her appearances at Dolce & Gabbana fashion shows and Christian Dior's
cover shoots are just among her many highlights. Keough made her debut on film
at the age of 20, appearing in a minor role in the musical biopic The Runaways
(2010), portraying Marie Currie. After The Good Doctor (2011) and Jack
& Diane (2012), she appeared in Jack & Diane (2012). After
that, she was cast as Magic Mike (2012), an uncredited role in Steven
Soderbergh's comedy film Magic Mike (2012). After appearing in Yellow and Kiss
of the Damned in 2012, Keough was cast in the big-budget action film Mad Max: Fury
Road (2015). In 2016, Keough had her breakthrough role as a law
student-turned-escort in the first season of the anthology series The
Girlfriend Experience, executive-produced by Soderbergh and based on his 2009
film of the same name. Her performance was highly praised and she was nominated
for the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance of an Actress in a TV limited
Series or Motion Picture. Keough's performance in the role of a lost young
woman in American Honey (2017) garnered accolades, and an Independent Spirit
Award nomination. Keough was also in the 2017 apocalyptic-themed horror movie
It Comes at Night. Keough was also seen with Soderbergh for Logan Lucky, his
heist film. She followed this with roles in a myriad of thrillers and horror
movies in the year 2018, including Lars Von Trier's The House That Jack Built
and the neo-noir film Under the Silver Lake, and Hold the Dark. Keough was the
lead in The Lodge, a psychological horror movie. Zola is Keough's comedy-drama
sequel. Keough is the lead character Sandy Harrison in Netflix's 2020 release
of The Devil All the Time.
