Priyanka Chopra Biography

Priyanka was born in Jamshedpur (India) on July 18 1982. Chopra was in the high school system when she was crowned Miss India. She then was the winner of the 2000 Miss World pageant. Following that international success, Chopra became a star in Bollywood and turned her focus to film. She made waves on American television through the FBI drama Quantico which ran from 2015 until 2018, and was the subject of headlines for her wedding to actor and singer Nick Jonas in December 2018. Her first Bollywood movie, The Hero: Love Story of a Spy, in 2003. In the same year, she also appeared in Andaaz. It was the start of a series of films , which included Plan, Kismat (a romantic comedy about the life of a spy), Asambhav, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Aitrazz, and Asambhav which all came out in 2004. Although the majority of these films failed at the box-office, Chopra's romantic comedic Mujhse Karogi was a success. At the age of twenty, Chopra made her debut in the 2002 film Thamizhan and followed that same year with Jeet the Born to Win. Chopra admitted that her debut film was an awful experience. "I was ready to quit the world of entertainment after I'd done it!" I didn't know what I was talking about or doing." The actress and singer-actor Nick Jonas went public with their relationship in the summer of 2018. News of their engagement came in the latter part of July, and Jonas reportedly popping the question on Chopra's birthday, which was her 36th birthday. The couple was married at an extravagant celebration that started on the 1st of December 2018.
